Pras Found Guilty, Facing 20 Years in Prison
Ex-Fugees member Pras has been found guilty of conspiracy to defraud the US, witness tampering, and acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign government.
The rapper (born Pras Michél) was involved in a failed conspiracy help a Malaysian businessman named #JhoLow and the Chinese government gain access to US government officials, including Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
The Malaysian businessman is said to have paid Pras $20 million in 2012 for a photo op with Obama.
Pras is facing up to 20 years in prison. No sentencing date has been set.
