Former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst — who won the crown in 2019 — has reportedly died by suicide — she is believed to have jumped from the 29th floor terrace of her apartment building in midtown Manhattan, where she was last seen. Her body was found around 7am earlier today.

The beauty queen posted on Instagram just hours before her death, with a caption that read, “May this day bring you rest and peace.” A statement from the beauty queen’s family said that her “great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength.”

Cheslie Kryst was 30 years old.
