Judge Denies Tory Lanez’s Motion for New Trial
An LA County judge has denied Tory Lanez motion for new trial. Through his legal team, the Canandian cited errors in the first trial, and while appearing in court yesterday, made desperate pleas for the judge to not “ruin” on his life.
The singer (born Daystar Peterson) is facing up to 22 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion and is expected to be sentenced to a minimum of nine. His sentencing is scheduled for June 13.
