Music Video: Megan Thee Stallion – “Cobra”
In her first release since going independent, Megan Thee Stallion appears to be getting quite a bit off her chest. There are indications of her bring depressed and turning to alcohol. The rapper also appears to reference the July 2020 shooting that landed Tory Lanez in prison. The most shocking lyric, however, is an apparent revelation that she caught Pardison Fontaine cheating.
And if there was any doubt that the song was autobiographical or that she was rapping about anyone but Pardi, he kinda confirmed it with a nasty couple of posts to his Instagram stories featuring Future and Tristan Thompson, two renowned serial cheaters.
Musically, “Cobra” is strong from top to bottom, and the music video is arguable Megan’s best. Click play.
